Nonomino Sudoku
I’m thinking of expanding my Sudoku addiction to include nonomino sudoku, which has random shapes for the sub-grids instead of squares. There are zillions of free nonomino puzzles in PDF format at Hans Boldt’s web site.

I hate you. Really, really, really hate you. You get me started on Sudoku, and now you introduce this?
You’re cruel. Do you know how little writing I get done do to my addiction?

Mwahahahaha! I bet you get as little writing done as I do.
Do you want me to write you an online version? The PDFs don’t have the cool color nonomino backgrounds like the example at Wikipedia had.

I’m working on it. While you’re waiting, there’s a daily jigsaw sudoku at
Sudoku Online.

Wow, nonomino sudoku is cool! Thanks for the hint! Are there already computer programs for this?

I haven’t seen any, but Hans Boldt must be using something to create so many nonomino sudokus.
