A drabble coda to "Resurrection."

No dough, no foul.

The title is from Paradise Lost, Book IV: "Who would not, finding way, break loose from Hell, / Though thither doomd?"

Thanks to Jerie for making it possible.

I watch Anna's final confrontation with her maker on the security tape. If I hadn't suspected the truth already, her parting words would have revealed it.

She was human enough to believe that humanity could be worse than the Goa'uld - that an NID mad scientist out of a bad noir episode of the X-Files could outdo the race of Sokar in malevolance. Having been pure evil once myself, I know Anna was never Goa'uld.

She didn't kill those men because she was evil - she killed them because they were evil. Even so, she couldn't quite break out of hell.
