Sam was sitting up in bed. "You shot me, sir."

Teal'c raised an eyebrow.

"I zatted you, Carter," O'Neill said. "Technically speaking."

Daniel leaned in. "You know Jack - shoot first, ask questions later."

"Zat first, ask questions later. You're acting like I blew Carter's brains out." Jack winced at his own words.

"Technically speaking..."

"That thing came here to wipe out our planet, Daniel."

"Indeed," said Teal'c. He was still carrying the zatn'kitel around. "I was prepared to shoot Major Carter myself."

Jack corrected him. "Zat, Teal'c."

Sam edged away. "You zatted me, sir."

"It won't happen again, Carter."
